Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julian Uoston Jr!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson dives in and grabs Uoston Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Uoston Jr pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.

Uoston Jr is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jackson gets his way!

I really don't envy Uoston Jr right now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Julian Uoston Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Uoston Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
Uoston Jr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Uoston Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Uoston Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jackson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Uoston Jr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Uoston Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Uoston Jr is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jackson is hurt! He's hurt bad - Uoston Jr fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jackson from any more punishment! Congratulations to Uoston Jr! Great finish!
