Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23846 p4p, 6397 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 74 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 67 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Fighter B drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fighter B engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Fighter A wants to hit a sweep here but Fighter B passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fighter A there!
Fighter B tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A wants to hold on but Fighter B pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter A tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fighter B controlling the pace for now.
Fighter A tries to hold on but Fighter B postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fighter A is trying to escape the mount.
Fighter B takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fighter A holds on to Fighter B around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Fighter B controlling his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B looking to finish Fighter A with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fighter A!
Fighter A is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Fighter B tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like Fighter B might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Fighter A is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Fighter B content just to control the position here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fighter B scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fighter A is looking to reverse the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B controls the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Fighter A struggling a bit here.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fighter A ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter A enables Fighter B to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter A manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B postures up.
Fighter A preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fighter B is stalling in the full guard.
Fighter A wants to stand and escape but Fighter B is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fighter B darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter A gets double underhooks and turns Fighter B into the cage.
Fighter A feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B circles away easily
and Fighter B counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter A moves out of range of the body kick from Fighter B.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fighter A shoots in but no luck this time.

Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fighter A seems a little lost for a moment, as Fighter B dominates the positioning.
Fighter A controls the position for a moment.
Fighter B controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fighter A is looking to get back to full guard here but Fighter B has managed to pass to side control instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fighter B is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter A will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Fighter A is trying to get back to his feet.
Fighter B moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fighter B closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fighter A is being controlled here.
Fighter B sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fighter A is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fighter B content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Who's going to make the next move?
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sss Sss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fighter B winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
