Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charlie River (ranked 1295 p4p, 1354 weight class) and Paul Kings (ranked 91 p4p, 94 weight class). River comes to the cage accompanied by Waylon Jennings - I've Always Been Crazy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 24 - 1, fighting out of New York, Charlie River!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Kings!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kings lands a right hook to the body.
Donk. River catches Kings right on the button with a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from Kings misses the target.
River half committed to a counter leg kick.
Kings fakes a jab and throws a low kick but River checks it well.
Kings misses with a wild body shot.
Kings bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps River's head backwards.
River scores with a head kick. Kings tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kings moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kings swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and River connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Good work by River as he checks the leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from River! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Charlie River thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
