The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanc gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Sandcastle throws out a powerful jab.
Blanc looks to land a body kick but Sandcastle moved away.

and Blanc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Michel Blanc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandcastle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blanc was well out of range. Poor timing from Sandcastle.
Blanc throws a push kick but Sandcastle slaps the foot to one side.

Sandcastle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blanc.

A little jabbing left from Sandcastle on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sandcastle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blanc throws a leg kick but Sandcastle sees it coming and moves out of range.
Blanc lands a nice hook to Sandcastle's body. Sandcastle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sandcastle has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

No joy there for Sandcastle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blanc swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sandcastle throws a nice looking combination but Blanc bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A counter left hand to the body from Blanc misses its target.

A punch lands to the side of Sandcastle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sandcastle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sandcastle throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Blanc crashing down! Blanc tries to stagger back to his feet but Sandcastle just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Blanc asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
