And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jax Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers with the inside leg kick.

and Chambers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Jax Chambers has been cut.

Chika swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Chambers missing with a left hand there. Chika was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Chambers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chika stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chambers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chika throws out the jab.

We've been informed that Chambers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

I was talking to Chika's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chika breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chika throws a leg kick which misses Chambers's front leg but catches the back leg as Chambers tries to avoid it.

Chika lands a big uppercut and Chambers crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Chambers looks OK. Chika waves Chambers back to his feet!

Chika throws an overhand right that lands on Chambers's shoulder, as Chambers tries to avoid the shot.

and Chika counters with a crisp right hand that drops Chambers! Chika lets Chambers back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Chambers is still on wobbly legs! Can Chika finish him?
Chika lands an uppercut, right on the button! Chambers tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
