The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greepo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Higgins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Greepo somewhat.
Higgins misses with the combination.
Greepo shoots in but Higgins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Greepo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Greepo tries to move into range but Higgins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Higgins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Higgins trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Greepo manages to pass to mount!

Greepo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Greepo is looking to work his way around to Higgins's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greepo looking to control but Higgins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Higgins wants to hold on but Greepo pushes him away.

Higgins is squirming around, avoiding Greepo's attempts to control the action.

Greepo working for a guillotine from mount but Higgins is in no mood to give up.
Higgins is looking to get to half guard.
Higgins tries to improve his position but instead Greepo has taken his back!

Greepo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Higgins knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Higgins for a finish.
