The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Anora has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jackson is working away from the top position though.

Jackson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Anora is bucking up trying to escape but Jackson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That has opened up Ricardo Anora's cut even more.
Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Anora but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The cut above Ricardo Anora's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ricardo Anora's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
