Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kerouac (ranked 1843 p4p, 1319 weight class) and Jimmie Vinge (ranked 295 p4p, 207 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Kerouac has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Kerouac seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinge throws a hook but Kerouac blocks it.
A little feinted left hand from Kerouac on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kerouac lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kerouac misses with a hook.
Kerouac ducks under a wild hook from Vinge.
Kerouac cracks Vinge with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vinge's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kerouac under the eye.

It looks like Jack Kerouac has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerouac dips to his left and cracks Vinge with an uppercut!
We've been told by Kerouac's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Vinge jabs Kerouac to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vinge lands with an uppercut that bounces Kerouac off the cage and back into range.
Kerouac swings widly with a right hand
and Vinge counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kerouac scores with a head kick.
Vinge dips to his left and cracks Kerouac with an uppercut!
Vinge scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A head kick misses from Kerouac.
Vinge punishes Kerouac's body with a nice straight punch.
Kerouac is breathing heavily.
Vinge cracks Kerouac with a good jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vinge drops Kerouac with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kerouac looks back up at him and smiles so Vinge waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Vinge takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kerouac throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Vinge connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kerouac - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
