Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tolgot Tochukwu (ranked 3470 p4p, 3454 weight class) and Mackin Hooez (ranked 270 p4p, 267 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tolgot Tochukwu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mackin Hooez!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tochukwu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hooez, pushing him back against the cage.
Tochukwu jumps guard but Hooez stands there with Tochukwu around his waist. Tochukwu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hooez jumps guard and drags Tochukwu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tochukwu tries to free his leg and advance position but Hooez is retaining full guard.
Hooez pulls Tochukwu in close to his closed guard and prevents Tochukwu from doing any damage or advancing position.

Hooez has his foot on Tochukwu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tochukwu works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hooez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hooez is pulling down on Tochukwu's head to control his posture.

Hooez is looking for a triangle but Tochukwu pushes his legs off easily.
Tochukwu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Tochukwu rushes Hooez and presses him up against the cage.

Hooez decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hooez pulls Tochukwu in to control the position.
Hooez looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tochukwu has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Tochukwu controls from within his opponent's guard.

Tochukwu slips nicely into half guard.
Tochukwu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Hooez trying to control but Tochukwu postures up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tochukwu pushes Hooez up against the cage in a clinch.
Tochukwu is trying to pull guard but Hooez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Tochukwu fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tolgot Tochukwu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hooez manages to pull guard.
Tochukwu's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Tochukwu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hooez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hooez wants to control the position but Tochukwu says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Hooez looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Tochukwu not doing much here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hooez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tochukwu pulls his head out easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tolgot Tochukwu will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!

Hooez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tochukwu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hooez smiles and moves away.

Tochukwu closes the distance and clinches.

Tochukwu drags the fight down to the ground.

Tochukwu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hooez defends well.

Tochukwu is looking for a triangle but Hooez pushes his legs off easily.

Hooez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tochukwu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hooez is looking to defend but Tochukwu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hooez! Tochukwu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hooez taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tolgot Tochukwu!
Tolgot Tochukwu bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
