Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timothy Combs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chesty Tessmacher!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs shoots in for a takedown but Tessmacher shows good takedown defense.
Combs takes a swing at Tessmacher's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Tessmacher misses.
No joy there for Tessmacher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Combs changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Combs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tessmacher as he jumps to the side.

Tessmacher throws a jab but it's blocked by Combs.
A left lands for Tessmacher.
Combs waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tessmacher.
Combs looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Combs moves away from the strike by Tessmacher.
Combs tries to counter with a takedown but Tessmacher is quick to defend against it.
Tessmacher avoids the body shot from Combs.
Tessmacher throws out a counter right but Combs avoids it with no problem.
Tessmacher tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tessmacher's coach down at Doom's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tessmacher's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tessmacher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Combs tries to avoid it but Tessmacher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Combs to the ground. Combs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tessmacher lands a jab to the nose.
Combs on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Tessmacher lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Combs throws a hook but Tessmacher avoids it easily.

Tessmacher avoids the body shot from Combs.
Tessmacher feints a counter leg kick.
Combs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tessmacher thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tessmacher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tessmacher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tessmacher lands with a shot to the body.
Combs tries to move into range but Tessmacher moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tessmacher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Combs throws a body punch but Tessmacher moves out of range.
Chesty Tessmacher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Combs moves out of range of the strikes.
Tessmacher fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Combs is out of range.
Combs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tessmacher.
Tessmacher scores with a nice head shot.
A nice leg kick from Tessmacher, right into the meat of the thigh.
Combs takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Combs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tessmacher.
Combs is looking to wear down Tessmacher with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tessmacher throws a jab when Combs was well out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Combs tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Tessmacher gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Combs to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Combs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Combs stops Tessmacher from standing up.

Tessmacher wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Combs's hips, looking to push off. But Combs grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Tessmacher screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Timothy Combs!
After the fight, Timothy Combs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
