Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gumma closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pfeifer to the mat! Pfeifer manages to get full guard.
Gumma tries to free his leg and advance position but Pfeifer is retaining full guard.
Gumma lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Pfeifer working for a triangle but Gumma defends it easily.
Gumma trying to control the position from guard on top but Pfeifer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pfeifer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Gumma throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gumma forces his way into half guard.
Pfeifer is trying to control but can't.
Pfeifer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Gumma looking to pass the guard.

Gumma is working hard here to advance position.
Gumma advances position into side control!
Gumma cracks Pfeifer with a big elbow.
Pfeifer is looking for a sweep.
Gumma advances to mount.
Pfeifer can't escape the position.
Gumma fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pfeifer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gumma putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Gumma lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pfeifer hang on?
Pfeifer tries to hold on but Gumma postures up.
Gumma lands a big shot there that rocks Pfeifer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Pfeifer is rocked!

Gumma postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Pfeifer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Pfeifer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
