Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Kekoa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johny Handicks!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handicks misses with a right hand
and Kekoa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kekoa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Danga de danga de dang - Handicks scores with a four punch combination!
Handicks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kekoa.
Kekoa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Handicks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Handicks lands with a shot to the body.
Kekoa lands a nice hook to Handicks's body. Handicks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kekoa drops Handicks with a big left hand and mounts him. Handicks is in big trouble!

Handicks is rocked!

It looks like Johny Handicks has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kekoa content just to control the position here.

Kekoa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Handicks is surviving well by controlling Kekoa's body position as best he can.
Handicks tries to hold on but Kekoa pushes him away.

Handicks really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Handicks has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Kekoa looking to control and managing it successfully.
Handicks tries to hold on but Kekoa pushes him away.

Handicks holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kekoa tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Kekoa looking to control but Handicks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kekoa wants to finish this one by submission but Handicks is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kekoa.

Handicks tries to lock up and control but Kekoa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kekoa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kekoa forces the positional change into back control.
Kekoa biding his time, looking for the opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kekoa working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kekoa is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Kekoa is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Handicks is trying to break free.
Handicks covering up well and avoiding damage.

Kekoa loads up on a big right hand but Handicks slips the punch.
The fighters circling - Handicks throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Handicks connects with a single shot there.
Handicks misses with a shot to the body
and Kekoa counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Handicks takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kekoa lands a slapping body shot.
Handicks misses with a lunging right hand
and Kekoa counters with a straight right hand.
Kekoa throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kekoa lands a nice hook to Handicks's body. Handicks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Handicks jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kekoa blocks a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kekoa drops Handicks with a naaaaasty hook - Handicks is in real trouble here! Kekoa dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Kekoa!
During a confident post fight interview, Eddie Kekoa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
