Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister Eko (ranked 3771 p4p, 6107 weight class) and Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rutten sprawls well initially but Eko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Eko seems content to control.
Rutten is looking to control Eko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rutten avoid being mounted?
Rutten is looking for a sweep. Eko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rutten slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Rutten is looking for a triangle but Eko pushes his legs off easily.

Rutten escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
