Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Carrillo-Moreno (ranked 1570 p4p, 933 weight class) and Tommy Harinck (ranked 106 p4p, 67 weight class). Tommy Harinck struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendon Carrillo-Moreno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Harinck!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harinck works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Harinck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carrillo-Moreno as he jumps to the side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Harinck stuffs the takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harinck has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Carrillo-Moreno darts in looking for a takedown but Harinck gets double underhooks and turns Carrillo-Moreno into the cage.
Carrillo-Moreno can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brendon Carrillo-Moreno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Harinck.

Carrillo-Moreno has clasped his hands together around Harinck's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Harinck manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carrillo-Moreno's best efforts.
Harinck has his hands clasped together around Carrillo-Moreno's back. He's all about the action.
Harinck is looking for a sweep. Carrillo-Moreno is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Carrillo-Moreno is trying to control the action in half guard but Harinck is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Harinck makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Harinck.

Harinck is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Carrillo-Moreno defends well.
Carrillo-Moreno wants to control from the top but Harinck keeps moving.

Carrillo-Moreno is pushing down on Harinck's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harinck is fighting to maintain full guard but Carrillo-Moreno has managed to sneak the leg through.
Harinck is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carrillo-Moreno's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carrillo-Moreno's back!
Harinck is trying to stick to Carrillo-Moreno's back but Carrillo-Moreno is turning into Harinck. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Harinck's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carrillo-Moreno.
Carrillo-Moreno trying to control but Harinck is working from the bottom.
Carrillo-Moreno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harinck swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Harinck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Carrillo-Moreno drops back looking for a leg! Harinck is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harinck manages to kick Carrillo-Moreno off! Carrillo-Moreno jumps back into Harinck's guard.

Carrillo-Moreno got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harinck has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carrillo-Moreno has managed to get both his arms back between Harinck's legs - danger averted.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harinck trying to keep a closed guard but Carrillo-Moreno is proving a slippery customer.

Harinck has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Carrillo-Moreno should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Harinck has tightened it up now! Carrillo-Moreno should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
