The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa tries to bum rush Shalashaska with a series of wild strikes but Shalashaska uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barbosa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shalashaska - the referee stops the clock and Barbosa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shalashaska. Barbosa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shalashaska connects with a nice short shot to Barbosa's temple.
