PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between More IsMore (ranked 771 p4p, 1427 weight class) and The Devils Outlaw (ranked 98 p4p, 180 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Outlaw's choice of entrance music: For The Outlawz by Moonshine Bandits. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw misses with a double jab
and IsMore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Outlaw is looking to land body kicks.
IsMore tries to counter with a takedown but Outlaw is quick to defend against it.
IsMore takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Outlaw throws a right hand that misses

and IsMore counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

IsMore is working for a kimura but Outlaw is defending it quite comfortably.
Outlaw is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
IsMore trying to control the action but Outlaw is working from the bottom.

Outlaw is trying to stand back up but IsMore is controlling him

IsMore looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
IsMore drops an elbow to the side of Outlaw's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
IsMore wants to pass to mount but Outlaw is defending the position.
Outlaw blocking the ground and pound attempt from IsMore.
IsMore throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Outlaw is trying to escape back to his feet but IsMore uses the scramble to pass into side control.

IsMore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Outlaw is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
IsMore is looking to take a break and control but Outlaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Outlaw tries to escape but IsMore is in control.
IsMore is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
IsMore is looking to take a break and control but Outlaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Outlaw looks to score with a jab to the body but IsMore is just out of range.
IsMore tries to counter with a takedown but Outlaw is quick to defend against it.

IsMore steps into range and cracks Outlaw with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Outlaw flops backwards and IsMore dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like The Devils Outlaw has been cut.
IsMore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Outlaw is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Outlaw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as IsMore controls the pace.
IsMore trying to control but Outlaw is working from the bottom.
IsMore looking to sit in guard and control but Outlaw gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Outlaw wants to stand and escape but instead IsMore has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

More IsMore dominated that round.
The cut man is working on The Devils Outlaw's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

IsMore circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Outlaw to the canvas! Outlaw doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - IsMore keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
