Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bishop Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver comes to the cage accompanied by Yung Jeezy/Jay Z - Go Crazy. Svensson has chosen Metallica - Hit The Lights! as his entrance music. Bishop Carver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bishop Carver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mats Svensson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Svensson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Svensson shoots in for a takedown but Carver shows good takedown defense.
Carver lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Carver keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Svensson.
Svensson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Carver feints and then cracks Svensson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Svensson down.
Carver forces Svensson back against the cage and clinches.
Carver pushes Svensson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Carver looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Carver keeps control of Svensson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Svensson has had enough of the clinch but Carver keeps him there for the moment.
Carver has a couple of punches blocked by Svensson.
Svensson manages to break the clinch.
Carver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice takedown defense from Carver. No joy for Svensson on that attempt.
Svensson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Mats Svensson has been cut.

Carver looks to score with a jab to the body but Svensson is just out of range.
Carver throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Svensson shoots for a takedown but Carver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bishop Carver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mats Svensson.
Carver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Svensson shoots for a double leg takedown but Carver sprawls well. He's pushed Svensson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Carver lands a left and a right that sends Svensson crashing to the canvas! Carver dives into mount looking to finish!

Svensson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carver decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Svensson, up you get!
Bishop Carver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carver connects with a jab.
Carver misses with a few strikes there.
Carver misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Svensson.

Svensson misses with a straight left.
Carver throws out a loose jab but Svensson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carver fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Svensson.
Nice sprawl there from Carver as Svensson shoots in.
Carver lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carver swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Carver throws a nice outside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bishop Carver dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mats Svensson's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Carver scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Carver is looking to slow Svensson down with leg kicks.
Carver works Svensson's body with a nice hook.
The crowd cheers as Carver lands an impressive looking overhand right. Svensson doesn't seem phased though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Svensson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Carver is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Svensson.

Horrible takedown by Svensson or perhaps it was just good defense by Carver which made him look bad.
Carver rushes Svensson with punches - Svensson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Svensson goes down! Carver follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bishop Carver!
