Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tim Bird (ranked 4970 p4p, 4835 weight class) and Benny Darius (ranked 218 p4p, 205 weight class). Bird's entrance music is Dragula - Rob Zombie. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Darius's choice of entrance music: In the Shadows - The Rasmus. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Darius throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darius throws a looping overhand right but Bird ducks down to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Darius looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bird moves away from the strike by Darius.
Bird lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Benny Darius has been cut.
Bird throws an overhand right that lands on Darius's shoulder, as Darius tries to avoid the shot.

As Darius tries to get set, Bird tries to push him back and clinch up but Darius manages to avoid the attempt.
Bird moves out of range as Darius strikes.
Bird keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Bird misses with a hook. Darius ducked under it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Benny Darius.
