Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaka Zullu (ranked 6244 p4p, 25054 weight class) and Tristan Tofan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tristan Tofan enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shaka Zullu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Tofan!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tofan leaves Zullu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tofan wants to counter with a clinch but Zullu pushes him away.
Zullu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tofan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Zullu drives through and clinches with Tofan against the cage.

Zullu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zullu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tofan throws a leg kick that is checked
and Zullu counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Zullu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zullu tries to counter with a takedown but Tofan is quick to defend against it.
Zullu shoots in for a takedown but Tofan shows good takedown defense.
Tofan wants to counter the offense by Zullu and move into the clinch position.

Tofan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zullu's guard.
Zullu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zullu has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tofan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
No luck for Tofan with that takedown attempt.
Zullu throws a quick counter kick to the body but Tofan avoids it.

Zullu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zullu lands a shoulder strike.
Zullu prevents the takedown attempt.
Tofan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zullu is defending well for now.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Tofan tries to score a body lock takedown but Zullu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Shaka Zullu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tristan Tofan.

Zullu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tofan is sitting in close to Zullu's body. Zullu has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tofan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tofan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zullu.

Shaka Zullu decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
