Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Mathieu (ranked 17 p4p, 130 weight class) and Zeta Knox (ranked 1 p4p, 10 weight class). Knox has chosen Five Finger Death Punch | Bad Company as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 29 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeta Knox!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mathieu drops Knox with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Knox looks back up at him and smiles so Mathieu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
A jab from Knox misses.
Knox pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A counter left hand to the body from Mathieu misses its target.
Knox misses with a right hand
and Knox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mathieu misses with a jab to the body
and Knox counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knox dips to his left and cracks Mathieu with an uppercut!

It looks like Ernesto Mathieu has been cut.
Knox throws an off balance right hand

and Mathieu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Knox! Mathieu lets Knox back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Knox is rocked!
We've been told by Mathieu's head coaches at Convicted Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nice straight punches there by Knox. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Knox.
Mathieu misses with a lunging right hand
and Knox counters with a nice uppercut.
Knox misses with a left hand
and Mathieu counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mathieu loads up on a big right hand but Knox slips the punch.

Knox takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Knox fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mathieu tried to counter with a leg kick but Knox avoided it.
Mathieu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mathieu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Mathieu tries a low kick but Knox avoids it.
Mathieu connects with the punch.
Mathieu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Mathieu counters with a quick kick to the body but Knox blocks it.

Mathieu appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

and Knox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Knox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mathieu throws a half hearted mid kick.
A nice side step and Knox releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Mathieu avoids the body shot from Knox.
Mathieu is looking to counter with head kicks.
Knox misses with a body shot
and Mathieu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Mathieu counters with a nice right hand that sends Knox toppling to the canvas! Knox scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mathieu finish him?!
Knox is still on wobbly legs! Can Mathieu finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knox throws a lazy uppercut
and Mathieu counters with an outside leg kick.
Knox walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Knox limp body while Mathieu jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

After winning the bout, Ernesto Mathieu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
