Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dreynos Elvul (ranked 1101 p4p, 1520 weight class) and Da Jiang (ranked 141 p4p, 196 weight class). Da Jiang has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dreynos Elvul's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dreynos Elvul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Da Jiang!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Elvul throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jiang throws an overhand right that lands on Elvul's shoulder, as Elvul tries to avoid the shot.
Elvul checks a leg kick.
Elvul changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Jiang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elvul manages to avoid it.
Elvul fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jiang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Elvul misses with a lunging right hand
and Jiang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Elvul avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Elvul half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Elvul throws out a loose jab but Jiang uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jiang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Elvul sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jiang moves away from the strike by Elvul.
Jiang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Elvul.
Jiang throws out a counter right but Elvul avoids it with no problem.
Elvul takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jiang takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Elvul closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jiang's guard.
Jiang is looking to stand back up but Elvul counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jiang.

Elvul wants to work for an arm triangle but Jiang is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Elvul is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Elvul seems to be looking for submissions.

Elvul is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Elvul goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jiang is on top in guard.
Jiang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Elvul looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Elvul throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jiang escapes and throws Elvul's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Elvul is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jiang has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jiang tries to score with a low kick but Elvul moves his leg out of the way.
Jiang digs a good body shot into Elvul's ribs.
Nice cross by Elvul.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dreynos Elvul will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Elvul misses with a series of wild punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jiang.
Elvul lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jiang backs up against the ropes.
Jiang scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Elvul doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheers as Jiang lands an impressive looking overhand right. Elvul doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Dreynos Elvul has been cut.
Jiang works Elvul's body with a nice hook.
Elvul lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jiang throws a body shot but no joy.
Jiang looks to score with a jab to the body but Elvul is just out of range.
Elvul half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jiang scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Da Jiang seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jiang looks to land a left hand but Elvul moved out of range nicely.

Elvul ducks right into an uppercut from Jiang.
Elvul is rocked!
Jiang ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Elvul out cold! The fight is over!
