Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vernon Creed (ranked 13 p4p, 104 weight class) and Royal Halsti (ranked 2 p4p, 15 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vernon Creed!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royal Halsti!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Creed doesn't manage to clinch there - Halsti circles away.
Creed scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Halsti doesn't seem bothered though.
Halsti will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A left lands for Halsti.
Halsti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Creed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Creed gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Creed.
Creed takes a shot to the head.
Creed blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Halsti has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Creed regains guard immediately.

Creed keeping moving, preventing Halsti from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Creed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Halsti trying to control but Creed is working from the bottom.
Halsti trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Halsti trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Creed manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Creed gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Halsti closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Halsti scores with a sloppy right hand. Creed should have avoided that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Halsti misses the target.
Halsti jabs Creed right on the nose. Creed blinks but takes it well.

Halsti keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Creed.
Halsti feints a counter leg kick.

Halsti sends Creed crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Halsti is motioning to the referee to let Creed up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Halsti pivots, looking for a leg kick but Creed is out of range and Halsti settles back down.

Halsti lands a big right hand that sends Creed crashing to the mat! Halsti stays standing though and waves Creed back to his feet!

Creed is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Creed tries to clinch up
and Halsti counters with a huge right that knocks Creed out cold! Halsti is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

A relieved looking Royal Halsti thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
