Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurki Potku (ranked 414 p4p, 233 weight class) and Roberto Fabinho (ranked 65 p4p, 39 weight class). Fabinho has chosen Glowed Up - Kaytranada as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roberto Fabinho was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurki Potku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Fabinho!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potku does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fabinho is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Potku misses with an uppercut.
Potku just misses with a punch to the body.
Potku throws an overhand right that lands on Fabinho's shoulder, as Fabinho tries to avoid the shot.
Potku tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Potku throws a jab but it's blocked by Fabinho.
Fabinho changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Potku is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fabinho.

Fabinho tries to close the distance and clinch but Potku swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fabinho tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fabinho has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fabinho working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Potku manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Fabinho drops an elbow to the side of Potku's head.
Potku is looking for a sweep. Fabinho is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Potku fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fabinho manages to avoid it.

Potku turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kurki Potku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fabinho throws a lazy right hand but Potku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Potku swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Potku throws a shot from downtown. Fabinho moves away and avoids it.

Fabinho is trying to drag Potku to the mat but Potku just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Potku is trying to maintain a safe position but Fabinho gets an underhook and turns Potku into the cage.

Fabinho jumps guard but Potku turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fabinho works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Potku tries to work over Fabinho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Potku wants to hit a sweep here but Fabinho passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Potku there!

Potku is trying to control but can't.
Potku moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Potku might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A pretty intense looking Kurki Potku took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
Roberto Fabinho spoke after the fight, saying 'Man that was a tough fight. I didn�t take my opponent very seriously leading up to this fight but I�ll keep going. I know I�m the most dangerous in this division and will get that gold eventually'.
