The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bonds looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
bonds throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
bonds is breathing heavily.
Darktemptation gets the takedown into side control.
bonds regains half guard there - taking advantage of Darktemptation's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Darktemptation is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and bonds defends it well.
Darktemptation seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Darktemptation passes to side control.
Darktemptation wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by bonds, who protects the arm well.

Darktemptation swings around for an armbar but bonds sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Darktemptation's guard.
Darktemptation wants to sweep but no luck.
Darktemptation manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. bonds manages to get himself to full guard.
Darktemptation has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

bonds takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Darktemptation connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused bonds some visible discomfort.
Darktemptation has worked his way into a potential kimura here. bonds is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Darktemptation yanks on the arm and bonds is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Darktemptation.
