Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Jingjing Ito (ranked 4263 p4p, 5047 weight class) and Seung Joon (ranked 331 p4p, 352 weight class). Joon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by CEO freestyle - superbee (ft. uneducated kid). Seung Joon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seung Joon!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Joon's coach down at Blacksmith MMA Gym πΊπ² was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Joon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A head kick misses from Joon.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Joon, as that shot connected.
Ito takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Joon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ito tries to clinch but Joon moves away
letting Joon counter with a right hand.
Joon scores with a sloppy right hand. Ito should have avoided that one.
Ito tries a head kick but it misses.
Joon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Joon feints and then cracks Ito's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ito down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joon gets tackled into the ropes by Ito. Ito maintains the clinch.
Joon tries to throw a body punch but Ito avoids it by throwing Joon back against the ropes.
Joon tries to circle away but Ito has him pinned against the ropes.
Joon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ito takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ito takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ito takes a kick to the side of the head.
Joon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ito wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Joon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ito on the side of the head.
Joon misses with a series of wild punches.
Joon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ito drives through and clinches with Joon against the ropes.
Joon struggles to land a body shot inside as Ito controls his hands.

Ito comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Our sources have told us that Ito has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Joon misses with a hook to the ribs.

Ito pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Joon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Itos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Joon catches Ito with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Seung Joon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ito takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Seung Joon dominated that round.
That's time! Ito's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Joon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ito drops his hands momentarily and Joon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Joon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ito's head backwards.

Joon wants to get back to striking at distance but Ito won't allow it.
Joon dodges an elbow strike from Ito.

Joon has had enough of the clinch but Ito keeps him there for the moment.
Joon pushes Ito back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Joon lands with a nice combination. Ito backs away looking to recover.
Seung Joon seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ito tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Joon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Joon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Joon is looking to slow Ito down with leg kicks.

Joon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Oh Ito is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ito tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ito seems to have got his legs back now.

Joon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ito. Joon does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ito drops his hands momentarily and Joon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That kick from Joon tenderised Ito's leg. Ito is trying to keep his angry face on.
Joon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Joon.
Decent striking displayed by Joon there.
Ito takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Left hook, right uppercut from Joon.
Joon lands with a hook. Ito tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A jab lands there for Joon.
Ito takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Seung Joon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Joon connects with a quick right hand that sends Ito tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Seung Joon!
