Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lalime (ranked 2203 p4p, 2053 weight class) and Kevin Mamar (ranked 334 p4p, 320 weight class). Mamar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slipkibieber - Psychosocial Babe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Lalime!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Mamar!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A big left from Lalime misses.
Mamar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mamar throws out a counter right but Lalime avoids it with no problem.

Mamar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mamar lands a big uppercut and Lalime crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lalime looks OK. Mamar waves Lalime back to his feet!

Lalime throws a poor cross that misses
and Mamar counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lalime! Mamar lets Lalime back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Lalime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lalime throws a jab but it's blocked by Mamar.
Mamar looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lalime seems to have got his legs back now.
Mamar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lalime cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lalime throws a looping overhand right but Mamar ducks down to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lalime looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Lalime looks to throw the jab but Mamar is out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Lalime lands a nice shot that snaps Mamar's head back.
Mamar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mamar throws a poor cross that misses
and Lalime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mamar misses with a straight left.
A little feinted left hand from Lalime on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mamar throws the left hand but Lalime avoids the punch easily.

and Lalime counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Mamar misses with a body shot.
Lalime misses the jab.
Mamar drops Lalime with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lalime looks back up at him and smiles so Mamar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mamar throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lalime colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Mamar as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lalime is left battered and dazed whilst Mamar and his camp cheer!
