And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wilson.
Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Akbar Ii.
Akbar Ii appears to be looking for a big counter.
Akbar Ii has Wilson up against the cage in a clinch.
Akbar Ii goes for a takedown attempt but Wilson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Akbar Ii has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Akbar Ii changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wilson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
