Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matto Hyrra (ranked 3416 p4p, 3917 weight class) and Suydas Kimsh (ranked 391 p4p, 432 weight class). Hyrra comes to the cage accompanied by Etta - Perus . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suydas Kimsh!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimsh with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hyrra counters with a nice uppercut.

Hyrra shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kimsh is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hyrra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hyrra winds up and cracks Kimsh with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hyrra is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hyrra is keen to just control but Kimsh is a slippery customer.

Kimsh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kimsh.

Kimsh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hyrra defends it easily.

Kimsh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hyrra gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hyrra loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kimsh throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hyrra escapes and throws Kimsh's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Hyrra is chipping away with strikes.
Hyrra definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A lull in the action here as Hyrra stalls from top position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kimsh wants to control but Hyrra postures up.

Kimsh tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hyrra can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kimsh is looking to escape.

Hyrra avoids the attempt from Kimsh to control.
BOOM! Hyrra connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kimsh tries to lock up and control but Hyrra gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
