With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Fassett!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Fassett. No joy for Njagi on that attempt.
Fassett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Njagi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fassett.
Njagi tries for a takedown but Fassett sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Njagi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Njagi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fassett scores with a shot to the body.
Njagi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Njagi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abasi Njagi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fassett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Njagi was well out of range. Poor timing from Fassett.
Njagi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Fassett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fassett lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Njagi at a distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Njagi or perhaps it was just good defense by Fassett, which made it look bad.
Fassett looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Njagi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fassett as he avoids it easily.

and Fassett counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Njagi seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Njagi has his feet on Fassett's thighs here. He's pushed Fassett off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fassett screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
