Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Hood has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hari feints and as Hood raises his hands in defense, Hari changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hood on the ground.

Hood working for a triangle but Hari defends it easily.
Hari trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hood's guard.

Hood isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hari stacks Hood on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hari!
Hari tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Hari stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hood doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hari moves into the clinch.
Hari just leaning against Hood, taking a breather.
Hood fails to pull guard.

Hari breaks the clinch.
Hari tries to clinch but Hood is having none of it.
Hood keeps the fight on the outside.

Badr Hari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Hood.

Hari breaks the clinch.
Hood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hari tries to avoid it but Hood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hari to the ground. Hari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hood takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hood is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hood looks gassed!

Hari takes the fight into the clinch.

Hari turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hari stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Hari rushes Hood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hari lands an elbow just above Hood 's eye.
Hood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hari gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hood shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hari counters by moving into the clinch.

Hari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hari misses with a head kick.

Hood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hari gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hari scores with a knee to the head.
The referee calls for Hari to work.
Hood tries to pull guard but Hari holds him up against the cage and eventually Hood drops back down to his feet.

Hari gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hood regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hari can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hari doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hari manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hood is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hari has his hands clasped together but Hood extends an breaks Hari's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hood.
