Castagnoli shapes to counter with a head kick.
Castagnoli misses with a hook
and Peters counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Peters swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Castagnoli is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Peters with a body shot.
Castagnoli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sol Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Castagnoli.
Peters moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromCastagnoli.
Castagnoli bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Peters lands a big head kick that sends Castagnoli tumbling to the mat! Peters takes a step backwards and waves Castagnoli back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Claudio Castagnoli has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peters lands an uppercut, right on the button! Castagnoli tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
