The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nukem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Nukem.
Nukem just misses with a punch to the body.
Duke Nukem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Nukem wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.
Jackson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nukem!
Nukem has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Jackson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nukem is now in Jackson's guard. A big mistake from Jackson there, giving up the dominant position!
Nukem is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nukem is posturing up here but Jackson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Nukem tries to roll out but it's too tight and Nukem has to tap! Slick submission there by Jackson!
