The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg tries to land a front kick but Kortenhorst steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Goldberg prevents Kortenhorst from getting the reversal.
Kortenhorst sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Goldberg uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kortenhorst has time to react.

Kortenhorst closes the distance and pushes Goldberg back into the cage.

Goldberg is nestled in close to Kortenhorst, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Goldberg makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Kortenhorst is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Goldberg frees his head nicely. Oh but Kortenhorst has switched to an armbar! Goldberg is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
