Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Benedict (ranked 2640 p4p, 5646 weight class) and Tommy Weismuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benedict comes into the arena with Twins blaring out of the sound system. Weismuller has chosen The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Benedict thows a left - swing and a miss!

Weismuller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Benedict's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Benedict manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Benedict tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Weismuller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Benedict drops Weismuller with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Weismuller looks back up at him and smiles so Benedict waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Weismuller is rocked!

That has opened up Tommy Weismuller's cut even more.
Benedict ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Weismuller out cold! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Julius Benedict started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
