The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morbius closes the distance and clinches up with Kuukkeli, looking for a takedown. Morbius pushes Kuukkeli against the cage but Kuukkeli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Morbius shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kuukkeli keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Morbius seems to be looking for submissions.

Kuukkeli kicks Morbius off and gets back to his feet.
Kuukkeli fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kuukkeli moves into the clinch.
Morbius is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kuukkeli gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

and Morbius counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Morbius is looking for a kimura but Kuukkeli is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morbius to get the leverage.
Kuukkeli moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kuukkeli looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morbius drops back looking for a leg! Kuukkeli is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kuukkeli manages to kick Morbius off! Morbius jumps back into Kuukkeli's guard.
Morbius looks gassed!

Morbius thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kuukkeli could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kuukkeli is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kuukkeli had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morbius is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kuukkeli Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morbius's back instead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Morbius is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Kuukkeli trying to control momentarily.
Kuukkeli really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Morbius.
Morbius tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Kuukkeli looking to secure an arm triangle but Morbius defends it well.

Morbius is looking to improve his position but Kuukkeli isn't that keen on the idea.
Kuukkeli is landing with some decent strikes but Morbius is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Kuukkeli trying to control but Morbius is having none of it.
Morbius keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
