PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kai Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Rooney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rooney comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Immortal Technique - Point of No Return kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace shoots in looking for a takedown. Rooney tries to sprawl out of it but Ace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rooney manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Rooney. No joy for Ace on that attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
