Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Bjurstrom (ranked 2033 p4p, 1080 weight class) and Wee Ning (ranked 253 p4p, 147 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marco Bjurstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wee Ning !
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ning scores with a hook to the body. Bjurstrom takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Some bone on bone action there as Bjurstrom checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bjurstrom is looking to counter punch.
Ning decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ning throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bjurstrom to regain full guard.
Ning stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bjurstrom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ning has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at 3Band MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Bjurstrom was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ning fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bjurstrom checks it well.

Ning takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Ning darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bjurstrom has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ning is on him like a limpet, forcing Bjurstrom back against the cage.

Still in the clinch, Bjurstrom scores with a nice short uppercut.

Bjurstrom's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bjurstrom seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Ning is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bjurstrom.
Bjurstrom swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It looked like Bjurstrom was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ning .

Ning closes the distance and clinches up with Bjurstrom, looking for a takedown. Ning pushes Bjurstrom against the cage but Bjurstrom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Bjurstrom makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ning really felt that one!

and Bjurstrom counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Ning off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Bjurstrom follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Ning was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marco Bjurstrom!
A relieved looking Marco Bjurstrom thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
