The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bouba moves in looking to clinch but Sanford pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanford throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bouba throws a poor cross that misses
and Sanford counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bouba looks to land a left hand but Sanford moved out of range nicely.

Bouba misses with an uppercut. Sanford saw that one coming.
A nice side step and Sanford releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Sanford cracks a nice hook into Bouba's ribs.
Bouba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sanford is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bouba rather than just go for the knockout.
Sanford dips to his left and cracks Bouba with an uppercut!
Sanford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bouba takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Sanford counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bouba throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sanford counters with a nice kick to the body.
Sanford lands an uppercut, right on the button! Bouba tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
