The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Monroe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Monroe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Greepo under the eye.
Greepo shoots in for a takedown but Monroe shows good takedown defense.
Greepo staying out of range there.
Leepo Greepo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Monroe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Greepo sprawling to the canvas! Greepo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Monroe finish him?!

Greepo is rocked!

Monroe lands an uppercut, right on the button! Greepo tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
