Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Legend (ranked 5919 p4p, 25413 weight class) and Acelino Jofre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Legend!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Acelino Jofre!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jofre gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jofre is trying to drag Legend to the mat but Legend just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Legend breaks the clinch.
Legend throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Legend throws a head kick but Jofre moves out of range.

Legend drives through and clinches with Jofre against the cage.
Legend really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jofre slows down the pace here.

Legend pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Legend darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jofre preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Jofre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jofre keeping control of the position.
It looks like Legend is going to stand back up.
Jofre is refusing to be controlled, as Legend sits in half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jofre makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jofre.
Legend wants to control from the top but Jofre keeps moving.
Jofre tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jofre is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jofre controlling the pace.

Jofre thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Jofre is looking for a kimura but Legend is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jofre to get the leverage.
Jofre throwing shots but Legend is blocking nicely.
Jofre content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Legend definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jofre's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Jofre is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Legend doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jofre.

Jofre wants to free his trapped foot but Legend is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jofre rushes Legend and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jofre tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jofre tries to break free but Legend pushes him back against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Acelino Jofre will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jofre shoots for a double leg takedown but Legend sprawls well. He's pushed Jofre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jofre closes the distance and clinches.
Jofre can't break the clinch.
Jofre fails to pull guard.
Jofre jumps guard but Legend stands there with Jofre around his waist. Jofre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Luke Legend has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Acelino Jofre.
Jofre has Legend pressed against the cage, preventing Legend from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jofre pushes Legend back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Legend manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jofre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Legend shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Legend was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jofre explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Legend tries to clinch there but Jofre circles away.
Legend throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jofre.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jofre or perhaps it was just good defense by Legend, which made it look bad.
Luke Legend seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Legend misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jofre unleashes a big counter combination but Legend bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Acelino Jofre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Legend moves in looking to clinch but Jofre pushes him off.
Jofre tries to counter with a clinch but Legend shakes him off and moves away.

Legend has taken the fight to the clinch.

Jofre pulls guard.

Jofre looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Legend wanted to stand there but Jofre had control of the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jofre holds on and takes a little breather.

Jofre striking off his back but it's not causing Legend any problems.
Jofre has control of Legend's left arm, preventing Legend from doing any damage.
Let's hope that Jofre has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Legend tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jofre misses with the combination.
Jofre connects with a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jofre is defended easily by Legend.
Legend cracks Jofre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jofre closes the distance and clinches.
Jofre has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Legend is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Legend breaks the clinch.

Jofre fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Legend, pushing him back against the cage.
Jofre tries to land a knee to the head but Legend blocks with his arms.
Jofre jumps guard but Legend turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Legend is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Legend tries to break the clinch but Jofre is controlling the position.
Legend prevents the takedown attempt.
Jofre wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Legend wants to get back to striking at distance but Jofre won't allow it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Legend gets underhooks to prevent Jofre's takedown attempt.
Jofre tries to circle away but Legend has him pinned against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Acelino Jofre will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Legend tries to clinch up but Jofre circles away and keeps his distance.
Legend circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jofre drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Legend follows Jofre to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
