The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willa takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Willa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Corpuz but Corpuz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Willa moves away from the strike by Corpuz.
Corpuz throws an overhand right that lands on Willa's shoulder, as Willa tries to avoid the shot.
Willa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Willa showed some decent athleticism there.
Willa is working for a kimura but Corpuz is defending it quite comfortably.
Willa is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Corpuz as he works his way to full guard.
Willa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corpuz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Corpuz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Willa is sitting in close to Corpuz's body. Corpuz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Willa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Willa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Corpuz.
