The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uso is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Allen's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen is trying is best to control the position here.
Uso is trying to control. Allen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Allen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Uso takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Uso throwing shots but Allen is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uso is working for a submission of some sort.
Allen has his hands clasped together around Uso's back. He's all about the action.

Uso tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

and Allen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Uso! Allen lets Uso back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Uso is rocked!
Uso glances at the clock... BAM! Allen nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Uso crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Uso is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
