The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Stasyuk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Stasyuk tries to free his leg and advance position but Beckham is retaining full guard.
Stasyuk controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stasyuk looking to sit in guard and control but Beckham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stasyuk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beckham controls the pace.

Stasyuk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Beckham is looking to improve his position but Stasyuk isn't that keen on the idea.

Stasyuk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Beckham is looking to escape.
