PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Shrute (ranked 3847 p4p, 4376 weight class) and Vasko Panchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shrute comes into the arena with Battlestart Galactica theme blaring out of the sound system. Shrute has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Vasko Panchev has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dwight Shrute's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panchev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shrute is breathing heavily.

Panchev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shrute napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Panchev trying to control the action but Shrute is working from the bottom.
Shrute might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Panchev decides to stand back up.

Panchev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shrute napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Panchev drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Panchev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Panchev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shrute is rocked!
Panchev wanted to stand there but Shrute had control of the position.

Panchev is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Shrute is in big trouble! Panchev is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Shrute. Poor guy.
