Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akubundu Yobachukwu (ranked 2745 p4p, 2013 weight class) and Lom Seis (ranked 321 p4p, 231 weight class). Yobachukwu comes into the arena with Hate Me Now blaring out of the sound system. Lom Seis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seis ducks under a wild hook from Yobachukwu.
Seis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Seis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Seis lands a jab to Yobachukwu's midsection.
Yobachukwu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yobachukwu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Seis lunges at Yobachukwu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yobachukwu's hand.

Seis looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Seis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yobachukwu manages to avoid it.

and Yobachukwu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yobachukwu drops Seis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Seis looks back up at him and smiles so Yobachukwu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Seis is rocked!

That has opened up Lom Seis's cut even more.

Seis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Yobachukwu is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Seis unleashes a big counter combination but Yobachukwu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Yobachukwu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Seis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Seis throws a hook but Yobachukwu blocks it.

Yobachukwu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Seis sprawling to the canvas! Seis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Yobachukwu finish him?!
Seis is still on wobbly legs! Can Yobachukwu finish him?

The cut above Lom Seis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Yobachukwu lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
