Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Scoot Henderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Clarkint!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarkint fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Henderson, pushing him back against the cage.
Henderson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Henderson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Henderson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Clarkint breaks from the clinch.
Clarkint closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A knee to the head by Henderson.
Clarkint gets control of Henderson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Clarkint will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clarkint is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Henderson has his hands clasped together but Clarkint extends and breaks Henderson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Clarkint.
