The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakatos scores with a shot to the body.
Lakatos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Phu Hoang has been cut.
Lakatos lands with a hook. Hoang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lakatos throws a hook to the side of Hoang's head but Hoang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lakatos throws a series of punches but Hoang avoids them all with ease.

Lakatos tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Hoang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Hoang throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lakatos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hoang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
