Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arjun Davies (ranked 4402 p4p, 25017 weight class) and Test Lightweight (ranked 466 p4p, 558 weight class). Test Lightweight told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arjun Davies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Test Lightweight!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightweight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davies manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lightweight on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Davies gets a clinch.
Lightweight tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Davies just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lightweight tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lightweight is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Davies to keep the fight standing.
Arjun Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Test Lightweight.

Davies drops Lightweight with a big knee straight up the middle! Lightweight is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davies lands an uppercut, right on the button! Lightweight tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arjun Davies!
Arjun Davies spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
