PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Finn The Human (ranked 2320 p4p, 3298 weight class) and World Peace (ranked 143 p4p, 196 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Human might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Adventure Time. Peace has chosen Crazy as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace doesn't succeed with the takedown
and The Human connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The Human looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Peace has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Peace there as he acknowledges the shot.
Peace fails with an attempt to clinch.

Peace goes for a double leg but The Human avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as The Human continues to drive forward.
Finn The Human has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of World Peace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Peace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peace lands in his opponent's guard.

Peace thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Peace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peace wants to control from the top but The Human keeps moving.
Peace won't allow The Human to get back to his feet.

Peace drops back looking for a leg! The Human is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Human manages to kick Peace off! Peace jumps back into The Human's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Human utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Peace drops back looking for a leg! The Human is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Human manages to kick Peace off! Peace jumps back into The Human's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Peace content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but World Peace will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on World Peace's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Peace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Human moves away.
Finn The Human is winning the standup battle so far.
Peace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Peace throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Peace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming The Human to the mat! The Human manages to get full guard.
The Human is wriggling around but Peace manages to pass to half guard.

The Human pushes Peace off, looking to escape but Peace dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and The Human is forced to tap! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). World Peace!
World Peace really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Nutritional Shaved Ice logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
