Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Murray could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Murray is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Manson is controlling him.

Manson stands and steps away. Murray gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A solid leg kick lands there for Manson.
Murray is breathing heavily.

Manson feints and as Murray raises his hands in defense, Manson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Manson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Manson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Manson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Manson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Murray is bucking up trying to escape but Manson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Manson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Murray is surviving well by controlling Manson's body position as best he can.

Manson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Manson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Murray wants to hold on but Manson pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Murray tries to reverse the position but Manson maintains control.
Murray seems to have got his legs back now.

Manson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Murray is forced to tap! Great finish!
